Vulnerability hangover | Brene Brown | Diane Sanfilippo

I have a massive vulnerability hangover that I didn’t anticipate.

It may take me some more time to collect myself and talk more about things that are deeper than food. Just a heads up.

In addition to the quote shared on the slide, here’s another one for your consideration: “We live in a world where most people still subscribe to the belief that shame is a good tool for keeping people in line. Not only is this wrong, but it’s dangerous. Shame is highly correlated with addiction, violence, aggression, depression, eating disorders, and bullying.” ~ @brenebrown

I have long been a Brené Brown stan, but this week, her words are feeling like an extra strength ka-pow!
