“Thank you for being you.”

This is one of my most favorite expressions of gratitude both to receive and to give.

Followed closely by the more explicitly stated: “your courage inspires me.”

I know it doesn’t always feel easy.

And I know sometimes it seems like you’re putting yourself out there to be judged by whoever is being met with your full self – whether strangers on the internet or people close to you in real life.

But, I’ve gotta tell you that you never really know who is gaining strength and courage simply by witnessing you doing the same.

You don’t need a big platform or a following to make a difference in someone’s life.

When you show up fully as yourself, when you set and hold your boundaries, when you clearly express your needs, or when you hold your standards at a high level, you will inevitably inspire others in the same direction.
