Hey everyone! Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend!

Scott & I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend here at home — keeping up with our normal routine of walking down along the water here in SF, barbecuing with some friends, a trip to Costco to finally see my 21DSD Daily Guide book on the shelf, and setting up a dog playdate for Harper.

“Lengthy, cheesy post alert. Day 21 of Level 3 of the @21daysugardetox. Sipping on my Gingerade kombucha and filling out my daily guide. This daily guide has been incredibly helpful and I’ve learned quite a bit. I cannot believe how good I feel. I didn’t think I’d notice much of a difference since I’d already cleaned up the food I choose to eat and stuck to a mostly paleo way of eating. BUT, I’m sleeping great, I have more energy for my workouts, and I’m handling stress much better. My resting heart rate has gone down by about 15 beats per minute. Cravings are gone and PMS was a non-issue for the first time EVER this month. I had been in a bit of a plateau before the detox, but since I started I’ve lost about 7 pounds and my clothes feel loose. Is it weird that I’m excited to go get my blood work done?

There are always things we can learn about ourselves, no matter how far along you’ve come in your healthy journey. The #21DSD has basically shown me that the learning and growing never stops. You’re never “finished.” Health is an ongoing process and I’m loving it.”

#BBSpices Recipe Highlight – SAVORY Blend!
